Our approach to designing vehicle bodies focuses on optimising weight-to-strength ratios. Unlike many manufacturers who fold sections that trap dirt, water, and aggregates—leading to rust and additional weight—we take a different approach. In this recent job (in the pictures below) we cut up there was 20-25 of these members down the length of the body, each one about 3 times its original weight yet structurally useless. Each section had increased to nearly three times its original weight without adding any structural benefit. This unnecessary weight not only reduces the vehicle’s lifespan but also significantly decreases its efficiency.
